Pool Hours & Season Information
Briarwood typically operates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, with hours that vary throughout the summer to accommodate swim team practices, staffing and seasonal schedules.
2027 Pool Hours
Coming soon! We'll update this section with opening day, regular operating hours and late-season schedules as information is finalized.
Please note that pool hours may change due to weather, hosted swim meets, maintenance or other operational needs. We share timely updates through our social media channels and member email communications.
Bringing Guests to Briarwood
We love when members share Briarwood with friends and family!
Members may bring up to four guests or one guest family during a regular pool visit. Guests must be accompanied by a current Briarwood member.
Non-member guest admission is $7 per person, per day. Guest fees may be paid by the host member or individual guests.
Planning a larger gathering or birthday celebration? Groups exceeding the regular guest allowance require advance staff approval and a pavilion reservation. All organized parties must be registered in advance so we can plan for appropriate lifeguard coverage.
Concessions & Pool Amenities
What's a pool day without a snack break?
Briarwood has an on-site concession stand serving poolside favorites, including our much-loved bagel bites. Offerings may vary throughout the season, with occasional special treats and pop-ups.
Members can add money to their concessions balance through the online membership portal. You can also save your payment information under Profile > Payment Methods to make future purchases easier.
Other amenities include:
A dedicated baby pool area for our youngest swimmers.
A pavilion for gathering and reserved parties.
Recreational swimming areas and designated lap lanes.
Seasonal programming and special events for members.
Adult Swim
A little Briarwood tradition: every hour, on the hour, we take a 10-minute break for adult swim.
During this time, children exit the main pool so adults can enjoy a few uninterrupted minutes in the water. It's a familiar part of summer at Briarwood and gives everyone a chance to reset before the next round of swimming.
A Few Helpful Pool Reminders
We want everyone to have a safe, enjoyable experience at Briarwood. A few things to remember before your visit:
Floats: Single-person floats are welcome. Large floats designed for multiple people are not permitted, helping preserve swimming space for everyone.
Beverages: Please keep canned beverages covered with a koozie while in and around the pool.
Parking: We're a neighborhood pool, so please help us be good neighbors. Avoid blocking driveways, park close to the curb when possible and watch your speed on surrounding streets.
Weather: Thunder means a mandatory 30-minute pause on swimming. Weather conditions may also result in delayed openings or temporary closures.
Hosted swim meets: On days when Briarwood hosts a swim meet, the pool may close early to allow staff and volunteers to prepare for visiting teams and families
